- Well, I was on craigslist looking for a shell to put my engine and parts in from my 97 GST (with the addition of new parts ). It was listed for 1200. The owner believed quite a bit was wrong with it (running on three cylinders and whatnot). Definitely thought it was a head gasket or compression rings but I didn't care knowing I was taking the engine out anyways. He sells it to me for 1000. I get her home and pop in some old stock injectors and a MDP sensor and to my disbelief the car runs perfectly. Truly a blessing. Now I can just build my other block how I want and DD this. I plan to make 250-300 horsepower to the wheels and make her look really nice for car meets.
