Background
When I bought the car it seemed to have only small problems, but in the end the previous owner sold it cause it had lost a thrust washer. Crankwalk came for that motor at about 3 months into my ownership of it. I bought a cheap rebuilt ‘95 7-bolt motor (bad decision) and it failed 300 miles into its break in from a rod clearance set wrongly. After losing a second motor so soon I decided to go about it the right way, I started by sourcing a ‘98 split-thrust 7-bolt motor and having it built by an amazing shop (MDR Performance and G&G Performance machine shop) I’m now in the process of breaking it in I’m hoping to make 450awhp
