- Friends grandpa bought it in the 90s up in Ohio. It got passed around their family until they dumped it in 2005 on the black sheep... my friend Bryan and his dad Chuck. They drove it a while, it jumped time, ran like crap, and bent valves but kept running. The computer died and they parked it. In 2007 I offered a car trade for it if I could get it running easily. I got it to start with the computer replacement but the engine was bad and would be replaced. They just gave me the car and I promised it was important to me and I'd always love it and keep it alive. It was my second DSM after a 92 Talon I had in high school. Nearly 20 years later and $3000 in parts invested, its still with me. My friend passed away in 2018. Since then I've put a lot more time and focus on it and I'll continue to care for it until I can give it to his sons to drive in about 8 years.
