Background: Oof.. where to begin. I'm 49. My fist car was a 92 Talon AWD Panda. I was in the military and took that car everywhere, even a year long short tour to Iceland. Running AWD with nailed snow tires over lava fields was a hell of an experience!

I autocrossed that car for a number of years as well, in Nevada and Arizona. Kept it till 2008. Sold it and almost immediately regretted it.

Now... I suddenly and unexpectedly have 2 Talons. A 92 and a 93. Both are auto, AWD, 6bolt and red. ( Thing 1 has a black leather interior. Thing 2 has grey cloth interior) Had a 3rd, but I scavenged it for parts to feed the other 2, as it was a TSI fwd roller.

Thing 1 will be a street car. Thing 2 will either be stripped and built out for autocross duty, or built and sold off to fund more improvements on Thing 1.
