yea, going all black, its original color. im actually planning on getting it ready for the paint booth in the next few weeks!

Getting the subframe and suspension reinstalled soon and finally putting the wheels on the ground for the first time in 7 months. I cleaned the heck out of the wheel wells and applied undercoating to them. While the car is in the paint booth, we are going to knock out the final pieces to the engine while it's on the stand. I want the motor to be ready to drop when the car comes back from paint.

Good job bro, like the black easier to clean LOL.

yea only problem is the summer time. Ive already dynamatted the entire interior, and throwing some ceramic tint all around, even the windshield. there is a clear ceramic tint. i am keeping my AC and throwing a remote start on to give me a headstart getting into the hot box LOL.

Thank you for the compliment on my wheels. It will be a while until I get them on. So as of last Wednesday 2/15/17 the car is currently in the paint booth. I scored a set of euro mirrors on Facebook, traded a high rise for them! They are on the way from Germany so it will be a bit because it's coming from a military APO address. I'll have updated pics soon

Looking good! It's definitely coming together. I'm assuming it's a 7 bolt with an evo oil filter housing right?

That is correct, an evo 9 ofh to be exact. I am going to be running an external oil cooler, plus my AEM oil pressure gauge thorough the extra port the 9ofh has available. Good eye!

love how you milled off the coil pack mounting tabs off the intake plenum, i just did the same thing. overall everything looks great so far, nice job!

Wow, that engine looks super nice. Keep up the good work! Did you do all this by yourself? And how much did it take you? Cheers!

good question. the motor was completely rebuilt, machine shop did their part, the shop which i go to assembled it. the shaving was me, and the powdercoating was done through a company here in phx. i appreciate the positive feedback! the car is still in the paint shop... been almost 3 months. eh, cant rush perfection.

Haha, you really can't rush perfection! I can't wait for more updates, if you're willing to post them, of course. Cheers mate, and thanks for the fast reply!

woke up to a couple of texts today... looks like the paint job is pretty much done!
