as the title states....why doesnt my car hit fuel cut? I take that back after it saw the crazy boost it started hitting fuel cut way way sooner like maybe 14 psi where I usually have no problems....is this just due to heat soak? when I parked it the upper intercooler hose was pretty dam hot so that that is what Im assuming....but why no fuel cut without heat soak at such high boost?...Mind you I am running 12% more fuel due to manual injectors with auto ecu and fpr with a rewire but still that shouldnt be anywhere near enough for 26 poundsWTF.....am I just wigging out and not realizing boost is really not that relevant if the airflow the turbo is puttin out isnt that much?....

i dont see how your stock engine/ecu/fuel setup can throw out 26 psi of boost without fuel cut. ROFL. maybe just keep the boost down, and be safe. the car might not be getting fuel cut for some odd reason, but trust me your probably running extremly lean.

oh im sure it was lean as hell...trust me i wasnt tryin to push it that muchROFL....my line runnin to my wastgate actuator was kinked by my intake right at the nipple for the actuator so I had no boost control but I never hit fuel cut until the intercooler got heat soaked from what I can gather....just wonderin if there was some sort of explanation....btw i only run 15 psi daily:thumb:

no actually that thing has held the few times it spiked that high awesome....ZERO shaft play and no smoke....I figured it would have melted when it saw to 26 pounds but it didnt...its a tdo4hL I read once on the differences between that and the one that is minus the L but I dont remember anything about what they were oh well thats not the point....just wonderin why no fuel cut? No biggie though I have the boost control problem fixed now I think....hopefully

wow I have terrible karma or something cause now i cant seem to avoid fuel cut ahhhhh this car has me chasin my own ass:notgood:

You probably created a boost leak when you ran that much pressure. Boost leaks cause fuel cut to happen earlier.

yeah Im assuming thats what happened Ill be goin to home depot to make another tester later....gahdamit:boring:

i can see the titlwe of your next post now.... Blew engine rebuild or buy new....

WTFsshh dam man why you gotta say something like that:shhh:....not cool....im not driving it while its doing this and the few times it has done it I was wary of the problem and let off immediately so no hopefully my next post isnt about my healthy motor blowin up on me...i fixed the boost control problem now I just gotta find these boost leaks:coy:

ya my old 1g at would do that with my 14b m/t ecu and injectors for some reason it would never hit fuel cut in 1 and 2 gears

yeah that is what is planned I have a 2g manny and rock solid 14b with manual ecu and fpr just sittin waiting to go on the car and now this had to happen...oh well thats expected when owning a dsm i guess....but kudos to the motor for holding on to that 26psi...that impressed the shit outta me....screamin....I can here her still screamin "I NEED MORE FUELLLL AHHHHHHH"LOL did I mention the motor has 153,000?
