Yeah, yeah, I know I don't really need a install kit, that I can bend the lines and stuff like that but still.....I need the gaskets and other stuff.

I want to install a 16g so the question is: What's a good website to buy the 2g install kit from?

Get it from RRE (www.roadraceengineering.com) they make what is called the "hacker kit" for I believe $195 it includes everything you "actually" need. With this kit all you have to do is bend the water supply & return lines abit to match up with the stock locations & file out the oil return line bolt holes on the turbo end abit. If you can't figure how to do those two things you shouldn't own a dsm :D

the extremepsi kit works, but not well

I had to get a different oil reutrn line because the one they come with kinks itself and burns oil through the turbo. The j-pipe comes off at a weird angle that doesn't work for fmic's. I had to cut and re-weld the pipe. But for 150bucks, not bad overall.

?? gaskets?
here's all you should need...unless u just want to waste the money on a kit :)

J-pipe---75? I re-used the stock one from a 14b until I got my FMIC.
SS oil feed line-50?
oil pan&turbo gasket - 4$
manifold-turbo gasket - 20-25$
3-4" rubber hose that fits over the oil return tube after you cut it to fit + 2 worm clamps.
reuse your stock turbo-o2 housing gasket port it to fit. Or you can buy an evoIII gasket for 20-25$.

that should do it

Save your money for an external wastegate for when the evoIII creeps to hell on you.

haha very true

LOL, you know im not joking :) save your money buddy you will need it. external setups usually run 300$+ if you put it on the manifold. More expensive if you put it on the o2.

Got the slowboy racing setup for 200 only problem is on the far bolt on the J-pipe its a little tough to tighten.

i know your not joking casue i have the evo 3 w/ creep,LOL but i getting a 50 trim w/ external setup... and it is ported clipped w/ 34m flapper :|

EvoIII's won't creep if you port them properly. I have a 3" exhaust with high flow cat so obviously Im restricted but can run 12 psi if I wanted too, not that I ever would :D . But I ported my buddies evoIII the same way and with 3" exhaust and no cat he can run 14 psi no problem without any boost creep. They both also have the 34 mm flapper.

Man this shit kills me. You don't need anything, don't waste your money.

Stock J-pipe. Stock lower intercooler piping will get to it just like it did the t25.

Stock 1g oil feed line. You also need a plug for where the oil feed was down by the filter. 1 dollar at the local auto store.

That's it.

Oil return bolt holes on the turbo need to be widened like 1/4" each. 2 minutes with a drill.

He has a 2g, they don't have a "stock" j pipe. 1g feed line comes from the block as far as I know, not a good idea, get a proper feed line that gets clean oil from the oil filter housing. Thats why I recommended the RRE "hacker" kit, comes with only things u need J pipe, L pipe, oil feed line and gaskets. Mod your stock water lines & oil return turbo flange & your done.

No kidding! However my stock lower piping on my car wouldnt reach the 14b style j-pipe. I had to extend the length a bit.

It's true if you port it right it will not creep -- trouble is porting it right :) Their is a good readme in the tech articles on it.

mitsueclipsegsx- if your interested a buddy of mine is selling his setup, 50-trim w/ manifold and the manifold mounted external with a dump tube. I think he wanted 700$ for the whole thing. has 4K miles on it no play. He's run an 11.7 on it. PM me if your interested.

Stock J-pipes are from 1g's.

1g Feedline comes from the head. Why's it "not a good idea?". The oil is cleaner? WTF

Yes, also more oil pressure. I wouldn't say it's "not a good idea" mainly just amatter of preference, or "peace of mind" much like a turbo timer.
