Well my friend and I Installed my T04E 50 trim Today and even with the extra thick flange on the SBR manifold and double gaskets I had to beat the hell out of the water pipe and the compressor cover also hit on the Banjo bolt on the lower coolant line. After Grinding down the Bolt and the housing it still wouldn't fit so we had to just plug the hole in the block and Tee into the upper coolant line too feed the turbo.

Now I was thinking about this tonight and wouldn't it affect flow or have any other side effects?

Thanks for the Help.

If Paul did it for 2 summers and nothing bad happened...then you should be fine Ty. Stop bumping your thread or I will lock it. ROFL

Edit: to the real Mods and Admin staff I was joking about the lock. Please ignore my sense of humour. ;)

Nobody's ever had to do this?? I don't see how you could fit a To4e cover on a 2g without removing the banjo bolt....

I have the same problem and I just order bunch of AN fittings from summit to make my own lines. I have decided to modify both the feed and return but if you already have the feed line hooked up than all you need is the return part.

1x -6AN male to 14mm x 1.50 male to convert the banjo fitting to -6AN
2x 90 degree -6AN female to -6AN hose end.
1x -6AN male to 16mm x 150 male for the return on the waterpipe to -6AN
2 feet of -6AN ss line.

This is not the cheapest way to go but it will work. Good luck.

I used a Plastic Tee and 1 Bolt...Total cost was like maybe 3 dollars :D

I know, I have -6AN hose and fittings left over from my fuel upgrade and decided to make good use of them. Only thing I didn't have was the AN to metric adapters.
