Where to ground timing on 95?

I found a blue and a tan connector taped to a harness along the firewall. (see pic I took) These are directly behind the throttle body. Are either of these the connector that gets grounded to set the timing on a 1995 4G63? I installed a 1g CAS after loosing spark. I used the RRE adapter harness and also moved the ECU pins for the injector timing and also moved the spark plug wires. The car is super sluggish so I was going to check timing.

The Tan connector has a black with Green stripe wire. The Black connector has a black with Blue wire. (note both the tan and the black connectors have caps that are removed to expose the connector) I am being cautious as these connectors are not near the battery like the pic shows but more toward the middle of the firewall. Also, do I notice anything specific in the way the car runs or reacts when placing the ground while it is running?

It's not the tan one, it's the blue one. Should be jammed behind and to the right of the cruise control box when looking at the firewall.

Here, I stole Eric's picture for you from this thread. :D

EDIT -> The information I posted is incorrect. The timing ground connector is the tan one, not the blue one. Thanks to v8killer for correcting me.

yes it is the tan one, i have a 95 also and the tan one locks the base timing !

I did some more digging and you are correct. Please disregard my misinformation. Thank you for correcting me v8killer and to the original poster, I apologize for posting incorrect information.

I guess I'm not much of a wiseman. :coy:

On a side note, v8killer, can you clear a little space from your inbox? I tried to send you a PM, but your box is full. Thanks!
