autometer egt gauge

I was recently told that the autometer gauge is not accurate,Is this true?

It's not that it's not accurate it's that it only reads up to 1600 and plus the probe they provide is slow to respond. I got my EGT gauge from prosport and it came with the probe and the gauge is nice and accurate.

I have an Autometer EGT gauge and it's pretty accurate; however, I use a TRE k-type EGT probe.
