Can I use a 1g non-turbo auto transmission eprom ecu in my car? I have a 92 GSX with manual transmission.

Is the board totally different or can I can just get it socketed and put in an aftermarket chip?

It's different. I don't know all of the differences but the most important one is the non-turbo ecu doesnt have a knock board. I've heard of some guys converting non-turbo ecu's into turbo ecu's. It was either Keydiver or the Dsmlink guys, I would email them and see what they say.

You can use it as long as your car is 91-94 and the ecu is 91-94. The difference is a little leaner fuel map, auto injectors-390 manual injecotrs-450.

You didn't read his post. He has a NON-TURBO ECU and wants to put it into a TURBO CAR.
Big difference. He can get it converted to a turbo ecu for some $$ and he would need a chip.
