My o2 seems to drop to 0.00 when i hit 4,800 and above when at WOT... is my fuel pump giving out? i'm all stock except honeycombs removed and a K&N.

the car studders above 4,800 and i believe this to be the problem... if i had a serial-to-usb, i would download log onto my computer, but i can't do that right now =(

anyhow, i am also throwing a p170 fuel trim code... i think it's the fuel pump.. anyone else have any experience with this?

By "supporting mods" I assume at least 550 injectors and a 190 FP.

What does your timing do when the boost kick in.. what is it at? Does the O2 voltage look good until it stutters, or is it just plain dead all the time?

When was the last time you replaced the sensor?

I had the same problem in my 1g. I tried everything from new plugs, wires tested for intake leaks changed the coil pack but nothing worked. The only way i could get rid of it was by turning down the boost. Does your boost creep with your honeycombs removed? Did you have this problem before you removed the honeycombs?

put honeycombs back in... car still runs about the same... gonna replace fuel pump, coil pack, and injectors tomorrow

any other ideas?

o2 sensor. I'm running pig rich since my front o2 is reading .00-.02v. I'm also throwing a PO170 and a PO125. Looks like I'm getting a wideband to replace it.

Have you checked for boost leaks yet? Just curious how much boost your running? Do you still have the problem when you lower the boost? Have you tried to reset the ECU?

have been checking for boost leaks a lot, all i hear is one behind the intake mani...

also, i am running stock boost.. no boost controller or i would turn it down....

doesn't your profile say you have a MBC? Have you done coil pack fuel pump and injectors yet? Have you checked your plugs lately? Are they gapped right? I had mine gapped too big in my talon and it studdered at high rpm's a bit.

hmm, profile was old car. didn't update.

replaced coil pack, plugs gapped to .28, fuel filter, have other injectors to swap in, plug wires.

havn't done fuel pump yet, as it's kinda difficult because the fuel tank seems to be damages a little and is moved forward a little bit... am gonna have a shop do that.

after finally installing and tuning an afc II, P170 (fuel trim malfunction) went away. i have a close setup to urs too. sixbolted, evo III, etc...
