My car was originally going to be run mainly with dsmlink and leave the translater set to zero.....when I finally got around to plugging in my E-prom ecu it turns out the thing is have serious problems and needs to be sent in for repairs. I am left trying to tune my car, with 850's, just enough to drive it around a bit until the ecu gets back. I don't have a logger or wideband so it would be helpful if some one could bring a logger with them.....

Beer, pizza, whatever. I'd really like to enjoy my car for the few days I have with it since I am shipping out (Air Force basic training) in 2 weeks. The car has been down for 7 months prior. :coy:

Any help would be hugely appreciated.

Uh... stupid question of course, but what's in it while the ECU is off being repaired? :b And what was wrong with the ECU anyway?

Good luck setting it up for 850s with just the MAF-T, too. Can't help but doubt how well that's going to turn out. :b

Stock non e-prom ecu went back in and setting it up for 850's was simple. There is a table that tells you how to setup for any injector size up to 1100cc's, it's the small trimming after that that i'm finding to be difficult.

Was more referring to idling issues... might teach me to post while tired. :b No piggyback is going to run as smooth as DSMLink. There should be a tuning guide up on the main MAF-T forums.. not sure how helpful it'll be. If you have a wideband, the obvious thing to do would be to set up the base tune on that, for just daily driving. Otherwise you'll have to watch your logs for pulled timing... standard tuning crud. Too rich is better than too lean, so long as you aren't washing the cylinders.
