If your exhaust goes under it will look like mine.

I'f you look closely you'll see the bolt where my exhaust wraps around at.I'll still get a better pic for ya though from my friends car.

AWDs dont need them. They have them stock. Also James hes right. If you ever plan to get an after market piping system it will not work. Stock exhuast goes up and through the suspension but thicker after market stuff will block where that OBX thing is supposed to go. I have yet to see an aftermarket setup not go under the rear suspension. They really should tell people that before selling them.

Also if you are going to use it until you have bigger exhuast I would make sure to find out if you need both rear wheels off the ground when you put it on. You dont want anything flying off.

hell yeh thats what i wanna hear LOL it not only looks good but it might actually do somthing ;) so was it pretty stright forward install??

Well I put it on today and it made a hell of a diff on my car! that and I also put on the RRE front lower stress bar like 3 days ago.. so that combo is very nice! what does your obx one look like?? just a reagular strut bar that they cut short to fit the bottom LOL thats kinda what mine looks like..

this is what mine looks like. the polished one of course

ime still waiting to instal mine, came with the package front and rear obx strut bars, i paid $70 for all three on ebay. i know it would fit with the stock exhaust but with my 3"turbo back its quesionable. i just need the time to try to install.

sorry to bring this post back, but i have a n/t and i have a custom exhaust (muffler shop) and i cant seem to remember how it was put on (ontop or under) the suspension, i will try n check it out but im pretty sure it goes ontop so the rear lower strut bar would work?

i'm bringing back the dead on this post LOL......but i have a n/t and im currently have the car lowered, front n rear strut bars, shocks (stock 14" wheels for now) and i am going to put in the rear sway bar......can i also purhcase a rear lower strut bar? My car handles nicely now, but how much better would it be.

Now: Front (upper) Strut Bar, Rear (upper) Strut bar
After: Front (upper) Strut Bar, Rear (upper) Strut bar, Rear Lower Strut Bar, Rear sway bar.....what do you guys think

haha god damn this shit realy is old, don't waste your money on the rear lower tie bar(rear lower strut bar) it is like I said a waste of money that does nothing for our cars because of the way the suspension is set up. A good rear sway bar would be way way way more beneficial to you. Do you have an rs or gs??

I'm guessing RS because of the stock 14" wheels. The rear tie bar really does nothing (that I've noticed), but I'm keeping it on there anyway.

haha oh snap just noticed that reading>me. anyway since you have 14's still your single best suspsension upgrade woudl be a set of wheels. some 16x7 or 8 or maybe some 17x7 the lower profile of the sidewall would greatly increase handling over anything you could really buy. Then next I would buy the sway bar and unless you have already spent the money on the rear lower tie bar don't buy it.

Don't forget the sway bar is going to cost you a bit extra because you need to buy the mounts+ hardware to install the sway bar becasue the rs does not have a rear sway bar stock.
