Well, I was fortunate to be invited to Tirerack in South Bend, IN last week to do a photoshoot with my car. I arrive and meet all of the upper management and the photographer. I get a tour of the building and their operations, meanwhile my car is being hand washed. And I must say, that place is very impressive. I never realized how much R&D they invest in..... The company's VP is also an architect, so the building has some pretty cool features to it. Tirerack is much larger than I imagined; their warehouse and sales staff is about 3 times larger than I thought they would be. They ship out 10,000 tire daily. Extremely impressive..... Anyways, I'll quit rambling and I'll get some pictures for you guys.

Basically, we had 4 sets of wheels and we got pics of each set. The last set wouldn't fit though. The fixed position center cap was not deep enough for my axle nut. I was not too devastated though (it was the only chrome set of wheels, which I am not a big fan of). These first 3 pictures were taken with my Razr cell phone. It kinda shows how the room is set-up.

That first set looks really nice with your kit. (the one's flash mentioned).

The pics look nicely lit, although it looks the photographer needs to clean the dust off his equipment.

I think the picture with your own wheels looks the best. Good choice in wheels. :thumb:

I dunno I'm really liking the gunmetal color, it accents the shadow on your graphics really well. Nice photos :thumb:

I like the Gunmetal 10-spokes.

So what'd you get out of this?? They hook you up with a free set of rims or tires??
We have yet to negotiate my end of the deal. I am only shooting for an employee discount (it's big). But honestly, I got free professional photography, and a good chance at getting my car in a nationally distributed magazine. I'm happy enough with that. If I start to make demands, they will blow me off and find someone else easier to work with. But, either way, I'm happy. :)

I see water under your car. Probably from the wash though. Makes it look like the radiator is leaking.
Yes. Apparrantly the underside of my car holds alot of water. It was washed and dried and quickly moved into the photo studio. It actually dripped a good sized puddle in there. At one point I was changing out the front wheel and I slipped in the puddle and fell flat on my ass. Luckily nobody noticed. ROFL

Pictures look really well. Your car is by far the best kitted dsm Ive ever seen. Keep up the good work and your car really shows that hard work pays off. Hopefully you get to keep a set and then you can send them to me for a belated birthday gift. I think the gunmetal rims would look nice on my talon. :sneaky: :D ROFL

I don't want you to see my car's flaws!!!! ROFL J/J. Actually when the photographer was done, she burned the images to a CD. I took it home and could not get them to open. So I took it to work and had a guy here tried to open them (he's bad-ass w/ computers). It seemed that she (the photographer) was using a MAC and when saving the pictures she used characters in the filename that Windows XP does not like/recognize. So, I had to go down to my art department and open them up on one of their MACs. I told him to just e-mail them to me, but he said he had to resize them first. And he made them much smaller than I wanted them to be.

I'm going to have him open them back up and rename the files and them re-burn a new CD so I can put the high resolution pics on my comp. :thumb:

Can't you just rename the files then try to open them? I'm a mac guy and that's what I do if I have a problem with file name and it usually seems to work. I don't know much about Windows, so i'm not sure if it'll do the same..

If you'd like the pics saved higher res, I can help you out if you want to send them to me.

Yes, we can just re-name them, but not in Windows. It has to be done with a MAC. SO after we re-name them with the mac, I can burn them to a CD and use the CD on my windows computers. No biggie....

Those gun-metal wedsports look so hot. I don't think they flow well with your particular car though since everything else on it is red and silver.

thats awesome how you got a deal with Tirerack to do a photoshoot. Car is looking good! I've taken a couple road trips and driven past the Tirerack building off of route 80. When i first saw it, i was shocked at how big it was.

What kind of liquid was under the front of your car?
