just came here in hopes of looking for a real DSM enthusiast to take my 90 talon TSI AWD off my hands.. i've owned it for 2 years and it won't pass smog.. looking to get $1,500 from you folks, but I've got it on craigslist for $1,750.

i know it has a ton of potential and life left in it, so i'm looking to sell it to someone who knows about DSMs.

the technician said it's attributed to the BOV, and how it dumps the air into the atmosphere instead of the back into the intake like the stock BOV does, thus messing up the ECU's Air/Fuel ratio.

i might put the stock BOV components back on and try the test again just for the hell of it.

you still interested? i dropped the price.

Throw the Recirc back on and it will pass smog. These cars are designed for the recirculation. When you come off the throttle, it goes Ultra rich, which would shoot your unburnt fuel through the roof.
