Hey there well for christmas my dad got me downpipe 2.5 to a 3'' pipe. after we installed and cut the cat off we had the local muffler shop weld 3'' piping the rest of the way down untill the rear axel and then it goes to the stock piping and then to my 2.5'' catback. see my info for who made the parts and my other mods. has any one done a full 3'' all the way on a gst 1g i preaty sure some one has but the guy say it to tight to put the 3'' tubing all the way back using the way the stock pipe went. do i need to keep the metal support thing on the right side on the back axel? and now when im drving when i get to 6k the car misses. i mean do i need more fule or ist the ecu case this? if it the ecu should buy this

or that thing a peace of crap? if it the fule the would be the injectors or the fule pump (this my dad gusse) just go pick up a 255gph welbaro one.

sometimes when the rpm climb slow and i dont know why either it does this like maybe 1/5 starts (like leaving a stop light) it will miss at 5k when it does this, and you can hear the down pipe really well.

i know my gramer and spelling isn't the best i know that alrdy but if you could tell what going on that would be great or some advice.

Ooo btw you prob want to know this im running 91 oct and it 50-60 F degrees here im running stock boost and i havent change the timing in anyway

Well i dont have a GST but when doing piping you dont want to follow the exact route the stock is b/c there is too many bends. Just find some other people with fwd's on here and look at their exhaust and see how it runs.

The missing your refering too is prob. fuel cut. It's not ur ecu ur just flowing more air then u can supply with fuel so it shuts off the fuel(fuel cut). But ya a fuel pump would fix u up nice and well more or less. However a 255 might be a lil over kill. In most cases a 190 will suit your needs but it just depends on what u want out of ur car. Oh and as far as that thing on ebay goes, thats a big no. I wouldnt buy nothing off of ebay. But if its a chip your looking for then i would suggest going to www.dsmchips.com.

As far as the missing goes or whatever, you might just be in need of some new plugs and wires. I know that me and a few other plp have had the problem where u give it so much gas past a certain point and it just bogs on you and plugs and wires fixed it so u might want to try that.

Hope some of this helps. I am in no way a genius at this stuff i just told you wat i know.

Later,
