need help with my IDLE

i need help with my idle because everytime the car is in netual and i rev it up the engie bogs down to where it wants to die out and most of the time it does die.i tryed messing with the bliss scerw.i have a 2g gst,this is my setup 1g thottle body,bov is vented(can that be it).thanks any help would be helpful.

It is most likely the BOV. Most 2g's will not let the bov vent without using a VPC of some sort or stand alone computer. If it is a 1g bov then put the tube back on and tell us what happens, but that should take care of it. Also, the reason that it's about to die or actually does die is because when you vent boost pressure, it enters the atmosphere instead of back into the intake where it can be accounted for.

i have a greddy type s on there right now but i also have a 1g bov,which one is better?i'll be putting the tube back on tomorrow and i'll let you know how it comes out.thanks

Well, for the question of which one is better, I would have to say that both of them are very good and they will both hold pretty high boost levels. you can keep the greddy bov on there right now, but make sure that the screw on top is adjusted properly so it will open fully, otherwise youll have some compressor surge to deal with. Either way, its up to you on the bov, the greddy sounds good, but so does the 1g. Put the tube back on and see what happens.

i was told to scerw the bolt on top of the greddy bov all the way down so it would hold more boost.is that true? thanks dan
