Anyone know of the part number for the t-housing gasket?? I just called and asked the local dealership and she told me there is no gasket there. I am talking about the gasket between the t-housing and the head...not the t-stat gasket. I have a 90 GSX....any help would be appreciated?

1G 6 bolt motor, I'm putting it back together...and there is a gasket that mounts the thermostat housing to the head, no part store has it, assuming its a mitsu only part..can someone give me the name of it, or part number...

Thanks, Josh :talon:

What youre looking for is the Thermostat housing gasket.
Mitsu part # MD118040 according to CAPS. Hope this helps!

'90 Laser 2.0 N/A

Need the OE part number for the lower thermostat housing gasket. (from the head to the housing)

I searched and couldn't find anything. I took my water neck and and tstat housing off to clean things up a bit and i noticed the gasket on the water neck was well falling apart so i cleaned the surface off, now my question is where to I find a gasket or what can i use to insure that it will not leak.

I also have another question and didn't wan't to start another thread hope this is OK MODS. I unbolted my down pipe from my o2 housing and the gasket there just fell apart in my hands any ideas where I can purchase one of them from? O ya any ideas on what i can do to keep the nuts that bolt the o2 housing to the down pipe from loosening???

Thanks in advance everyone.

Is it just a little o ring gasket for the waterneck and I went to my local napa awhile back and they didn't carry the gasket from the o2 housing to the downpipe.

Anyone else have any input on this like if I could use an RTV just to get a better seal on the waterneck.
