Ticking lifters? on my 2G? WTF??!!

Hey guys,
i have this insane tocking noise coming out of my valve cover, i had it slightly before but now it's constant and loud, i have always used regular 20w 50 oil and it's till ticking, plus i have a 2g so it seems even more strange. Anyone have any ideas?? other than replacing the lifters, i mean i have 2g lifters

You might want to try a little thinner oil like a 10w-40. Another possibility is that the lifters nead to be pulled and cleaned so the oil can flow through better.
