needle bearings found in intake of auto gsx

I am pulling a motor out of a gsx with 73000 miles. I pulled the intake tube off and there were needle bearings all in the intake. The 13b turbo clearly showed damage of sucking in some kind of trash because the intake turbine wheel is damaged severly. It still works though according to my friend. Where could the needle bearings come from?

I will take some pics tomorrow. Does anyone know if 13b turbos have needle bearings in them

Needles aren't used in turbos. Sounds like sabotage.

ok. thats just really strange then. The only other thing I can think of them coming from the maf area. The air filter cover was off when my friend got it. It has a k and n airfilter without the cover around it.

I doubt it could suck somthing that large through the IC

if it got them the right way it could. I will bring a picture tonight. I found the needle bearings in the intake tube to the turbo not the intercooler piping.

Sounds like someone tossed a Timkin race into the intake to see if they could explode the compressor.
