manufacture's idle air control

Just recently my car threw a CEL so i got it checked out at a local Auto Zone and they told me that it was due to a (manufacture's idle air control). I am not sure what this is and i searched it and found nothing. Is this the same thing as just an IAC or are they seperate things. Thanks,

They probably have a generic code reader and the car is throwing a Mitsubishi specific code. Did you get the code number at least? Code definitions should be easy enough to find on the Internet.

No sorry, I forgeot to get the code and the weather has been bad and i dont drive it in snow. I think it is going to be nice tom. so if so i will take it back up and get a code.

Yes that means it is your iac. You can pick an iac up from ebay for under 100 bucks, But brand new there expensive. How is your idle?

Ha it depends on how my cars is feeling, some times its amazing and others it will die/stall/roughen up.
