Just recently my car threw a CEL so i got it checked out at a local Auto Zone and they told me that it was due to a (manufacture's idle air control). I am not sure what this is and i searched it and found nothing. Is this the same thing as just an IAC or are they seperate things. Thanks, :dsm:

They probably have a generic code reader and the car is throwing a Mitsubishi specific code. Did you get the code number at least? Code definitions should be easy enough to find on the Internet.

No sorry, I forgeot to get the code and the weather has been bad and i dont drive it in snow. I think it is going to be nice tom. so if so i will take it back up and get a code.

Yes that means it is your iac. You can pick an iac up from ebay for under 100 bucks, But brand new there expensive. How is your idle?
