I finally got my car re insured and started driving it again, it sat for about 6 months, put fresh oil antifreeze, plugs looked good so did not change them, so I am driving home from work the other day and it was nice so i had the windows down, And i am getting high off the rotten exhaust smell. I look in my rearview and there is a cloud of smoke, same thing this morning i drive to the store everything is fine 2 minute cool down, get back about 5 minutes later start it up, lil hesitation on start figure heat soak? then it blows a rotten ass cloud of gray black smoke that fills up the whole parking lot! I get home pop the hood and i notice that their is oil pushed up onto my valve cover from the cap. 178k car never smoked, PCV is new but could their be no vacuum getting pulled out and its pushing out the ex valves or something? or would you guys say i need new seals and stuff, i didnt check the turbo because i checked for shaft play before it got laid up and it was good.

some time you can blow a seal in a turbo... unhook your down pipe or take off your o2 housing and check for oil.. if ## not geting vacum to your pcv. your dip stick will jump out/ or check ## head for compression .

Ok i checked the down pipe and o2 housing and they are dry, but now the smoke has a blue tint to it which i know is oil. anything else i should check, also the smell of exhaust is so bad its choking me, i am assuming that i have and exhaust leak somehwere near the motor and its blowing up from the hood, but if that were the case wouldn't i have a crappy idle?

ok i looked under my car today and i hope i found that smell problem, cause it really is giving some serious headaches. The transfer case is spraying onto my exhaust and its burning it. also i am going to buy a CO2 detector because isnt' CO2 odorless and tasteless, just to see whats up and why i get headaches when i drive my car. yolk and seal are next on my agenda and to jbweld the brass plug. everything else i will fix later just got to stop the headaches.
