I have a 90 Gsx wit a 92 galant vr4 switchable Awd to Fwd Jdm tranny. I have 1,635 miles on the new clutch. My 3rd and 4th gear are not working right now and I know they are on the same rail anyway. I was driving on the parkway and all of sudden I heard a wierd noise come from my tranny. All sudden I'm in gear and the car won't move. So I pull over wait a while it goes in gear everything is fine, then it did the same thing. I can put the car in gear when I'm not pressing the clutch the tranny is acting as if I am pressing down on the clutch. The car won't move. Would it be the clutch or tranny? Thanks alot my car is still stuck right now faraway any info would be great.
maybe the shaft that the throw out bearing slides on but not the fork. Anyway I took off the tranny the throw out bearing and pressure plate n clutch was fine. I spoke to a Dsm shop and they said it could be the input shaft. I tried to turn the input shaft by hand and it wouldnt spin but on my old awd tranny it does spin
