Hello again, ive been trying to diagnose my rich/idle surge problem, so yesterday my friend pulled the vacume line off the fpr. We noticed that the line had no pressure in it at all. It it supposed to?

It's possible that you wouldn't see any vacuum at the regulator on a hot start because of the fuel pressure solenoid but it shouldn't stay that way for very long.

If you don't see any vacuum at the input to the FPS then you need to make sure that the manifold port or the lines aren't plugged.

Where is your boost gauge tapped into? Most people use the input to the FPS. So it would be easy to know if it's plugged up or working.
