My friend bought a 95 GST with a evo 3 7-bolt swap in it. BPUs in it and it runs good yet bucks and fouls out randomly, especially under boost. The people who did the swap put stock dsm 450cc injectors in the car to better the cars driveability... the car still bucks and fouls out hard.
An evo 3 reads from the Cam angle sensor yet a gst reads from the crank angle sensor, the people who did the swap wired the car up to read off the cam angle sensor
and did not make any correction for the car having no crank angle sensor (they snipped crank a.sensor's wires and left it there)
its got a 95 obd1 chippable ecu
what can my friend do to get this car running in good condition and rid it of the fouling/bucking (without running expensive DSM LINK)
