car boggs down when i hit gas then revs up after a sec

k so i just got this 99 gst bout 3 months ago the car was runninn fine till i blew the clutch its been two weeks an now im bout to have the clutch put in...problem is the car battery died so i had to charge it up...i guess that was the problem cause i have a S-AFC sitten inside the car that came with no manuel an i cannot find one for it...but now when i hit the gas petal it boggs down then revs up then if i let off then try to give it gas again it takes a bit for the car to respond also my air/fuel says im runninn rich ...so m i...an is there anyway to just like reset the SAFC to normal sttings an start over again??? someone help me
