my timing belt keeps jumping. first i bought a new timing belt tensioner and installed it. but that didnt help. it used to jump on the exhaust cam sprocket so i got new cam pulleys, but now it jumps on the crankshaft pulley. it started doing this when i changed the timing belt, so i got another belt but it still does it. any thoughts?

I think ddavisaf is talking about the timing belt idle pulley and tensioner pulley. Non factory ones often don't line up quite right or are a little different than factory ones (width, offset, etc) and can cause these problems. Another common problem is not tensioning the belt exactly right or using a non factory tensioner (which is a big mistake) or the tensioner is worn out and you need a new one.

alright, i'll try a new idle pulley and tensioner pulley and i'll tell you if it works or not.
