alternator and p/s belt sizes please

could someone please tell me the correct belt size for a 98 turbo? I can't find it anywhere, not even in my haynes or chiltons... please assist as I think the shop gave me the wrong belts but uncertain... Thanks!

They can usually be off + or- 5mm depending on manufacturer

Thanks for getting back to me on this. I already worked it out but still appreciate it. I couldn't find the factory spec belts anywhere on the net and I was working on my car late so I couldn't call anywhere. The only reason I had to look it up is because ever since I've owned the car I keepe finding someone elses b/s backyard mechanics I was almost certain the belts on the car were not the correct size. When I got my new belts I matched them up and the were way to big. Come to find out the shop gave me the wrong sizes...

On a side note, have you ever seen an alternator spilt in two pieces? Thats how mine came out of the car when I replaced it this weekend. That and the p/s pump bearing was shattered. Whoever owned this before me was a complete hack...

Still the same alternator/water pump belt part number for a '99 GSX 5spd with a JDM motor?
Been to the parts store 3x now getting the wrong size, from 35" to the latest 38.5in...would love to confirm that the belt I need is 4PK0990 which appears to translate to a 39.5in belt. Harmonic balancer destroyed the stock belt, can't use it to compare.
