New rebuild sounds bad, not firing on 2 cylinders

I just put the head back on my Talon and tested it tonight. It will only run on 2 cylinders (1 and 2 (or the ones closest to the Timing belt)). Also, it sounds to me like the intake valves are hitting the pistons, cause its really loud. This is the third timing belt I've done, so I have an idea on how to do it, I rotated the crankshaft many times and the marks always lined up. I gotta be one tooth off on the intake. Ya think?

Probably more than one, or maybe your valve lifters did'nt have enough time to bleed down (if you had the cams out) and caused valve clearance problems :dsm:

Timing being off doesn't make the car run on 2 cylinders. Timing might be a reason why you're hearing the noise but technically it should still be running on all 4. Spark is good on all cylinders? Did you time it with a timing light?
