Lasalle,
Whenever I'm on the highway traveling around 100KPH constantly for over 5 minutes (around 3000rpms) coolent temp goes up and the gauge sits around 3/4's rather then the usual 1/2. I installed a front mount last septermber when it was still warm and I drove 2 hours on the highway fine without any problems.

Today I put in a 180 degree thermostat, new rap cap and filled the coolent. I waited till the therostat opened (and the fan went one) and put in the rest to make sure its full. The car idles fine at 1/2 on the gauge. Even dirving around and boosting all over town its fine, it's just at a constant speed and rpms it seems to happen.

Recently I installed a Garret T04B V-trim and I have the coolent lines from the feed to the return looped with a hose, just in case this might matter. I also had to cut a bit of my fan shround out but I don't see how either of these things would affect it since the fan really doesn't do much when your on the highway.

Any ideas?

sounds exactly like what im going through did you replace your head-gasket by any chance?

No the HG is fine.
I got my laptop back and hooked it up to the EMS and it turns out the gauge or something else is broken becasue the EMS is reading a steay 190F. It's weird b/c the gauge will move up and down between 1/2 and 3/4s now all the time at any speed now but it will still be inbetween 185 and 195. At idle the gauge is at half and around 190 and at the same temp but cruseing its at 3/4's... must be a broken gauge or sensor for the gauge.

sweet, at least yours is fixed, mine still sucks. by the way, youre car is pretty damn clean. thats what i wish mine looked like.
