I have a 99 GST with intake , exhaust, the car is running alright except for the idling... But my question is that I was planning to upgrade the stock turbo, and upgrade the fuel and all that, and i was wondering with that mileage, will the motor hold up? What would you guys recommend I do in order to upgrade the turbo and have a reliable setup...

And the mileage is?

We cant really tell u that.
Compression will give u an idea but u dotn know the condition of the bearings or what not.

I have a 92 galant gs that i put a turbo on it has 150k miles i put like 4 k miles with a 14b at 10 psi no problem yet but i know it will blow eventually.

my point is dont go spending money on upgrades unless u havem oney to fix the motor.

It would suck real bad having all nice mods and u cant drive the car around because u blew ur motor.

I have my 1g with 160,000 miles... running at 18psi daily, and 25psi on track day. No problems yet.

I dont know, how would be the best way to go about it, because i really wanna upgrade the turbo, but dont know if its worth it with 90 000 miles.. What if i change the rods, pistons, and do the bottom end along with the turbo... Any suggestions?

you're not going to get a definitive answer. the condition of the engine should be the determining factor, not just mileage

Well.. the engine is in good condition.. the only thing thats going bad is the bullshit stock t 25 turbo... besides that the motor is in good condition..

oh, and by the way...fix your profile so we can see what type of car you own, even though you said it in the post
