I have a 95 GST and I'm having a small problem when running at full throttle. When I hit the gas on 2nd gear or 3rd I hear like several small explosions coming from the exhaust and after the explosions are gone, then the car accelerates correctly but having minimal power losses.

I raced another car a few weeks before and people told me that there was fire coming from the exhaust, when I opened the hood I saw my manifold and turbo both glowing red.

I think my problem has something to do with the flowmeter bur Im not sure so Im seeking a lil bit of help

Thanx a lot

Check for intake/boost leaks.
What you describe is likely your ECU pulling so much timing (due to rich/lean knock) that the exhaust valves are open when the cylinders are firing. This would cause your EGTs to spike and cause alot of unburnt/still burning gasses to be expelled thru the exhaust (ala F&F) ;)

I think I fixed my problem, I calibrated my spark plugs to "24" and now the car is "running" fine. The car doesnt fire's or makes any unussual noises for now :thumb:
