I put a new FPR in the other night and took the car out for a test run. All the sudden i blew the vac hose off the FPR and the car just about died. I was only going about 30mph at the time and was under no boost. I knew that it put way too much gas in so i changed all the plugs and wires. I ran a boost leak test and nothing. the car sounds like it is missing really bad.
I have no clue what it is. let me know if you have anything that might help.

oo and i was running the car really rich like a week before so i was thinking maybe the upper 02.

Thanks

ok so here is the latest, the compretion in the #2 cylinder was not even at 30 and all the others were fine so i was thinking maybe broken valve spring. i pulled the valve cover checked it all out, and everthing looked fine, lifeters and all. so i did a form of a leak down test and heard some air moving thought the exhaust. so what now.........?HELP

Just go buy a repair manual and you shouldn't really have any problems pulling the head. It's not a terribly complicated procedure.

Ok well i have not done any work on the car yet. i have had other things to do, but i plan on doing this weekend. the thing that i wanted to know if i have to end up doing a lot of work on it and seeeing that the car has just over 160k on it will it be worth rebuilding it or should i look to do the 6 bolt swap??? thanks
