Okay, about two months ago I was rearended and pushed into the tow hitch on a truck. I haven't had a chance to put my car in the shop as of yet but will do it inthe near future. Damage included body damage, my condenser was bent in against radiator and the hood lach etc. Im not sure if this is a direct cause but a little while after the accident I noticed my temp gauge sometimes would go up a little when I revved the my car too much and if I sat in traffic too long. For example, last night I was stuck in Atlanta/Buckhead traffic and a noticed my car trying to overheat while idling. So I revved my car a little and the gauge when back down. Does this sound like a blocked radiator, faulty waterpump or bad thermostat?

let me know what you think

Sounds like you got a kink in your radiator somewhere.......although your pump could be bad. make sure you check it good and make sure its not crushed in anywhere. I doubt its a coincidence that your car starting overheating after the wreck. Prolly something to do with your radiator. But thermostats are cheap too so wouldnt hurt to replace it anyway.
