I cant figure out this problem, at all I have a 6 bolt swapped Talon AWD and I've done all the regular maitentance to it but the car still stutters and when it does that the check engine light comes on but no code shows up when I attempt to read it.

Now the latest problem is the car likes to die when I shift out of gear, I thought that it was a vaccum leak but it isnt because I've checked all the piping and its all tight. Then I thought that it was something with the wiring, I didnt see anything that was wrong, no loose wires, I noticed that the negative terminal on the battery was a little loose so I tightened that. It still does the same thing.

So DSM gurus help me out please, Im out of ideas.

misfiring maybe? Try pulling the plugs and look at them for signs of trouble. For that matter have you done the misfire hack for a 6bolt swap?

Well seeing as I have a 1g, I'd prefer someone with a 2g and a 6 bolt swap tell you about it.... I might get it wrong, but the way I understand it you're prone to phantom knock (misfire) when it's not there. Thus the CEL flashes and the ECU goes into limp mode for a bit... Anyone?
