Car won't run

Okay I'm not a car guy, and this isn't even my car so let tell you the story and hopefully you can help.

My brother has a 91 eagle talon AWD (it's the old of the two body styles)

He blew his turbo on it. So he replaced it with a slightly beefer turbo, not sure what it is.

Anyway he got it all back together and it won't turn over. It trys, but it will not start. I don't beleive it's getting any spark because I can smell gas, but I'm not sure where else to look.

Does anyone have any idea's. Any help would be great as this car has been in my parents garage for a month and will not run.

I am assuming that it DOES turn over, right? Check your spark, could be a number of things. Coil pack, PTU, CAS if it is getting gas but won't start!
If you put on a new (different) turbo, it is usually recommeded to disconnect fuel or spark and turn it over quite a few times to get oil pumping through the new turbo. Might sound stupid, but did you do that and forget to hook something back up? (fuel pump, coil pack)?

are you sure he put back the MPI Fuse under the fuse box? I know its called the Engine Moteur fuse in the 2g's but I'm not sure if its called that in the 1g's. Check for loose battery connections or maybe you guys knocked the connection loose on the alternator.
