Hi
what i have is a small16g but it has more shaft play than i want to deal with.

my question is this.

I have my 14b, with 0 shaft play.
is it true that the exhaust wheel is the same on the 14b and the s16g.?

What i wanted to do, was take the compressor wheel and the compressor housing Off the 16g, and put it onto my 14b cartrige.

will this work? are the center cartiges the same, the exhaust wheels the same, and just taking off the compressor wheel and sticking it onto the other turbo cartrige result in an unbalenced turbo?

just to recap, its a small16g. I want to take the compressor wheel and housing and put it onto a 14b. and have the 14b's bearingset, exhaust wheel, and exhaust housing.

thanks.

i'm pretty sure that the compressor housings are the same but the wheels are diffrent. Thats y its a small 16g is a 16g compressor wheel in a 14b housing. Someone correct me if i'm wrong.
