Turbo Wastegate Solenoid

I was looking around by my air intake and noticed that my turbo wastegate solenoid only has one vacuum line coming from it. It looks like there is suppose to be one that connects from the solenoid and the other end attached to the base of the MAS. My question is, is that the correct connection for the vacuum line..from the solenoid to the MAS? And could this be the reason i have a idle rev at start-up? what exactly does the solenoid do? any help would be great, thanks guys

Look on your hood, on the left side. There should be a sticket that tells you where all the little vacuum lines go.

do you have a MBC or is it stock?
