Ok, this is my first post, so bare with me here. K, my car is a 1996 Eclipse GSX, and I am making a custom 3" intake to the t-2small turbo and have a few questions.

K, so there are three lines going to the intake,(plus my NGR BOV being vented back in) one from the valve cover, another from the original boost control sylinoid, and one to the emissions can.
I am installing a MBC so I don't need to bleed it back to my intake, which leaves me with 2 lines. One to the emissions can, and the other to the valve cover. I was wondering if I could just run those 2 hoses to an oil catch can or something? Will it harm anything? Has anybody done this? :idontknow:

I would take out the coracle canister (emissions can) right now if there was a way that seemed reasonable. I have done my research on here and found that when people take it out, they end up putting an air breather (little air filter) on the end of the hose that goes to the gas tank. Leaving gasoline fumes to be vented into the engine compartment. (I do not like that idea at all) Should I cap/plug off that line? And isn't the gas tank supposed to contain some pressure in it? So y put the air breather on it? Any input is appreciated. And I hope to get some help.

My car is currently all stock on 8.5 lbs of boost thru the side mount intercooler. This mod will help put me one step closer to Front mount, on 10 lbs of boost. :D:hellyeah:

edit: my goal is to just have the bov recirculated back into the intake, no other hoses.

ya, thanks 4 youre reply, i think thats what im going to end up doing. Does youre line that went from the emissions can to the gas tank appear to be pluged or have an air filter breather thinggy on it? i think that is the only problem i will have with removing my emissions can. is finding out what lines to plug and vent ect... Other ppl can chime in on this too if they have any useful information on how to properly remove a "1996" eclipse gsx Emissions Can.

do an egr block off set up and eliminate all your vacume hoses beside the one the comes from the bottom of the thermostat to the intake and a couple others but ya that would solve that problem

Ya, so this is my custom short route 3" ICP, hopefully it lasts throughout winter, i really wanna have some fun with it in the snow before something brakes and its time to upgrade again. :hellyeah:
