oh yah it also has the balance shat elimination kit.

car as a nice turbo cant remember what it is but ill update as said before, huge sparco frount mount intercooler with hard piping, stainless tublar manifold, stainless o2 housing, stainless 3 inch down pipe, and 3 inch turbo back exhaust. the car pushes anywhere between 16 and 23 psi on a regular basis just depends on how cold it is. and i think theres a small boost leak from a worn cycolone cupler., and is capiable of much much more.. ill be adding an external waste gate to get a more accurate boost. as well as my boost controller. but all ill have for tuning right now is a safc.

all this will be goin into my 95 gsx.. and the 7 bolt will probably end up in the talon or in the 92 gst.

boy this is exciting my intial goal will be 500 hp . glad i have a bucnh of other goodies to go along from a previous project attempt.

hey man if you even need some help with the work let me know. ill be more then happy to come by and lend a hand with that swap.

yah all for a grand.. My friend is not stupid he knows how much its worth. He just cant have 2 cars and i have 2 dsm and we've been friends for 10 years so its a hommie hook up.

oh and the whole timing belt thing.. i never said i couldnt do it. i just said i wanted somone with expierence to give me a hand. and i just started a new job so dont have much money to fix it. ive done several motor swaps

this was my latest and current project.

well that last post wasnt susposed to shut everyone up. it was intended to show you guys i mean what i say. i still want encouragement and help. thats all i have to say.....

The engine is a KLZE 2.5L V6 from a Mazda Eunos 800, which I believe translates to a Mazda 626 or Milenia in the US. Its considered an upgrade from the US-Spec KLDE that goes in the Mazda MX-6, 626 and Ford Probe.

any and all help would be greatly appreciated.. as Ive never done a 6 bolt swap. I'm sure its not too hard but there's alot of little things you need to know to do it properly.

Heres the pics of the car got it to my house yesterday.. needs to be washed up but hey i wasnt about to ask him to wash it LOL.

ya man i am sure there is lots of info for the 7 to 6 bolt swap. read up. ill post a few links for ya here in a bit. and even ever you get the heavy lifting going let me know and ill come over and help when i can.

your supposed to use the 7bolt head on a 6bolt swap, you want to use a 2g (7bolt) head. so all the head work is kinda lost. you can sell it or trade for a good 7 bolt head. you might be able to get quite a bit of moeny for that head if its got all the work in it.

wow u got a freaking smoking deal man... your one lucky SOB

also my suspension is on its way :thumb:

Actually, the 7 bolt head on a six bolt block is a really good idea. It was recommended by multiple shops when I was doing mine. Pina and English both do it.

i know from reading and not experience people say that the 6bolt head flows way better than a 7bolt so i guess its a pretty common upgrade!!! id research it though

good steal though looks like its a fast car when running but thats the story of all our lifes

alright so guess i was right about the 6 bolt head then in the first place... the car does run. and its really fast, its hard to keep traction threw 2nd gear even at 3/4 throttle .. the current issue is that it sputters at full throttle other wise it runs prefectly.

So, this is still a FWD car then? I cannot imagine putting that much power down to FWD, my car has a hard in 1st and 2nd, sometimes even 3rd, and you are probably putting out a LOT more power than that.

I guess it will go well in your GSX then :)
A boost leak could easily cause a sputtering problem. A boost leak will cause more air to go through the MAF than is actually going into the engine, so it will run rich. If you have a wideband O2, watch your AFR. You should aim for 11.5:1 or so for a fairly safe tune. In my experience on a typical port injection gas engine, by the time you start nearing 10:1 or so, you will start to experience a noticable power loss. 9:1 or so and the car will misfire (sputter) You may also be experiencing knock, because when the PCM sees knock, it adds fuel and retard the timing momentarily, which will show up as a sudden loss of power.

IF you don't have a wideband, you REALLY need one. Trying to run a car that modified without a wideband O2 just doesn't work.

A.

Yeah the 1g is a FWD. That is why i want the engine in my 95 gsx so bad.. I just ordered some timing componets so i can at least drive the gsx .. as of now the t-belt is really loose so its been sitting for a while i dont dare to drive it that way. i do have a 1g awd talon as well but it would take alot of work to get that running again.
