Has anyone pieced together a meth injection kit that does not break the bank. I d like to get one but i am NO way spending $300+ for one.
I do like this kit, but not for the price. Dsm water alcohol Injection DevilsOwn Injection

I would piece one together but i am not sure where and how to start. Not to mention i know there are a few members (Turboglenn is one i know there is more i cant find there names) on here that are running meth kits with great success.

Maybe there are a few other people on here that is trying to do the same thing, so anyone wanna take a stab at it?

Have you looked at the basekit for $200-225? That's all i run and i'm having a ball with it as you already know... I don't think the progressive controller is needed as badly until you start relying on HEAVY amounts of meth injection for super high boost on crap gas. I've never had a bog or anything all the way up to am M12 nozzle coming in at 10psi. Don't be over sold on gizmos and gadgets. I'm sure you are capable of wiring up a simple relay... stick it in behind the radio and you will hear it "click" on every time and know that at least there's power to the pump and if there's anything caussing it to not flow, it's mechanical..

If there's anything i can help you with either post it in this thread or PM me I'd be glad to help you the best i can from my experiences, but honestly i started with a base kit because i too would not spend 300+ dollars on a meth kit just to see how good it would work for ME. And i"m as happy as can be. You will be too, just order the base kit... Chance is a stand up guy and even honored my request for specific nozzle sizes in my kit, and even if i built it i would have only saved 50 bucks or so. To me it's worth having the support of a good vendor to spend that extra 50-75 dollars just to have some one to call or email and bounce questions and ideas off of. I fully support and promote DevilsOwn because of the way chance dealt with me on the phone...great guy and i'm not scared to ut some of my money in his pocket!!!!!

I agree with Glenn that the base kit is all you need. I am running this same one and have had no issues with it. I got mine for $175, IIRC.

Honestly, I doubt you would save a significant amount of $$ by trying to piece together your own setup. By buying in bulk the vendors are able to pass along a bit of savings to you and you get the piece of mind of knowing that all of the different components are compatible with one another not to mention the customer support that is offered like Glenn mentioned.

Furthermore, even if you do end up spending $300+, it will still end up being one of the best bang for the buck mods you can do....increased performance AND added safety (elimination of knock if done correctly!).
