I need the dimesions of these (size, length, thread pitch, etc.). Does anyone know?

Because when I got my car, the covers were gone and the bolts weren't there.

-Those bolts are all over the ground at any pick a part yard, or look into any import car, 10mm socket.

6MM x 1.00 Thread size - Get 12 each in an assortment of lengths 1/2" to 1 1/2" & some flat washers & lockwashers - It's a very common fastener & you'll need some around anyway... CAREFULLY torque to 2 to 3 foot pounds from the center out - like you do the Head bolts - Are you installing new spark plug hole & valve cover gaskets - if so go with 2 ft lb. You can re-use the half moon piece - use RTV on it all the way around. The gasket for the Oil Fill Cover is $1 - check that too - my old one was as hard as a pretzel when I took it off - those make a mess.

I don't need the valve cover bolts, I got those. I need the spark plug cover and the timing belt cover bolts, so those shouldn't need to be torqued down should they? That reminds me, what do I torque the valve cover down to? We cracked my valve cover I have on there now by tightening them too much. The Haynes manual says 30 or some inch pounds I think but we didn't have an inch pound torque wrench, just a whole bunch of foot pound ones. What does it need to be in foot pounds?

Timing cover fasteners from http://www.vfaq.com/mods/timingbelt-1G.html

Thread diameter × thread length mm (in.)
A: 6 x 16 (.24 x .63)
B: 6 x 18 (.24 x .70)
C: 6 x 25 (.24 x .98)
D: 6 x 28 (.24 x 1.10)

We finally caught you on a VFAQ question dude....

Sorry - I misread the darn post - but we are still a constructive thread here... There are a lot of little inexpensive beam type Torque wrenches that go down to (2 ft lbs = 24 inch pounds). Honestly I don't torque the spark plug cover & the Timing belt covers - just snug them up with a 1/4 inch drive ratchet.

BUT - The Valve cover (2 to 3 ft-lb) = (24 to 36 INCH-lb) is Mandatory to torque IMO - just pick up a small cheap torque wrench.
