I have been looking to find used 1g 4 bolt rear axles for replacement axles as I am in the process of shipping my 3 bolt diff to TRE for an evo 3 rear differential LSD swap. I do however have a set of 92 3000gt vr4 rear axles on hand from my 3kgt from completing 6 spd trans swap. From comparing the axles, the 3 bolt to the vr4 4 bolt, they appear to be the same length(the rear differentials have major differences). When I called TRE, they recomended a set of 4 bolt with the inner diff tullip cups removed so they could attatch the tullips from an evo 3 to the inner bearing. I can't find a set of used 4 bolt axles, and would like to know if the axle bearings are close between both 3kgt and dsm 4 bolts.

However, if someone on here knows where I could look to find a set of 1g 4 bolt axles, be appreciated of getting pointed in the right direction.

I have looked into swapping the vr4 rear diff, and saw that major fabrication is needed to get it to sit proper in the 1g subframe, and that the axles would need to be cut and welded.

Thanks, I gave him a message to see if he could help me out. I do appreciate the help.

However, I would like to know if these vr4 4 bolt axles would be able to be used, even with an inner axle tullip swap, on our 1g dsms, seeing as how awd stealths, and vr4 axles are all over Ebay, make things a little bit easier in comming up with a 4 bolt axle swap with the Evo rear diff upgrade. If anyone does know or has tried, I'd like to know.
