There is a dude selling a VRSF intercooler core for 100 bucks locally. It is for a 2g though. I have read and searched a lot and it seems like the only thing I come up with are long route fitment questions between the 2g and 1g kits/cores.

So my question is, with a short route FMIC for a 2g work for a 1g with little or not modification? I undestand from the pics between the two, that the 2g for some reason has the inlet pipe on the FMIC extended out unlike the 1g cores. Not sure why though.

He also is selling some piping for a 2g but the 2g had a 16g turbo on it, so to me it seems like that might work also?

I just know a lot of yall own 2g and 1gs and could probably help me out!

Buy it all. Sell it on here for profit if possible. Buy a 1g intercooler kit. No headaches.

I can't say if it will work or not. You may be able to get away with it if you cut the pipes up to fit right but still not worth the hassle. You may have someone willing to even trade.

wont work. just look at the install threads. the first clue is that the 1g comre has rear outlets and the 2g has one side, one rear. It also is tall, def wont fit right behind the bumper. either flip it, or save.
