Comp 101300 too small for 2.4L and FP3052

I am about to switch to a 2.4L setup and wondering if these cams are too small for that turbo. This is going to be a street car so I don't plan to rev much past 7500. My goal for the car is 500 AWHP. Here is a link to the cam info:

COMP Cams: Mitsubishi 4G63 2.0L, XE258HR, Stroked Engine & Stock Turbo, Responds Well to Bolt-Ons

What are your thoughts/experience?

Thanks

I ran/run hks 272's on a 2.3 with the fp3052 and the power curve is great. Over 400ft lbs to the wheels before 4000 rpm with the stock manifold, right at 4000 with a driven innovations smim. Made 554awhp/495tq at 28psi.

That'll be a ton of fun through the mid-range, but should fall off up top.

Great set-up for a DD.

I would run bigger cams than those. IMO a set of HKS 272's would be perfect for the rpm range of a 2.4. A lot of the newer 272 cams really push the rpm range higher than I would want it to be on a 2.4. This of course all is assuming you are building a street car.

I have 264's in my 2.4 and the power falls off pretty fast after 6k but this is also on a 16g turbo. I does make for a killer street setup will amazing torque and instant boost. I do however plan on stepping up to a 272 cam when this winter for the HX35.

I have thought about switching to 272s. What would I gain by switching to them?

The motor will breathe better up top. You have a 2.4L motor and a ~52lb/min turbo.

Let her eat.

I would consider the GSC S2's, Kelford 272s, or similar. Adjustable gears would be a good investment as well.
