Is the throttle stuck? Try adjusting the two 10mm bolts on the cable where it's attached to the intake manifold. Mine hung at 2000rpms for a bit and I adjusted its position. DSM link saw like 3% throttle before I adjusted it..

I had a very similar problem a few years ago, accept mine was idling at about 4k. (sticky throttle cable i believe) I just hit the pedal a few times and it settled back down to normal.

Make sure you do not have a line off in the intake tract. If you have a bad hose or anything that would let air come in, it will up your idle and make it run lean but, sounds like ICM, Biss, or ISC problem. Do you have an A/F meter??

If you do, this will help tell if it is mechanical or electrical. Will run lean if mechanical like a hose leak. Only exception is a bad adjustment on the TB cable as mentioned before.

If your cable is too tight, will make the plate open some, like pressing on the accelerator. 2 screws hold it down. Make sure it is properly adjusted.

Check all the easy stuff first before replacing more expensive electrical parts.

ok
first thing is first i will reconnect the coolant lines, then ajust the tb cables see if that makes a diffrence
i will keep you guys up to date.

Update: Boost leak tests detected a leak at the tb at around 25 psi of pressure, will that make the idle so high?

well i first found a leak on the upper side of the tb ( gasket to manifold) used black rtv to form a new gasket and it works

however around 25 psi there is a leak from the upper side of the tb where the vaccum ports are

all the ports are closed except the p port ( vaccum boost reference)

because i have a magnus intake manifold i used a 1 way valve for the brake booster

i did used soopy water did not found any leaks at the injectors, intake manifold

new brake booster line or any other leaks for that matter only on the tb upper at 25 psi test.

I WILL reconnect my water lines to the tb see if that changes something

Block off your FIAV. I had this issue before.

Remove the throttle body and remove the bottom half. You will see a freeze plug, pop that out and you will see a plastic thing. Take a needle nose pliers and turn it all the way clock wise till it wont turn anymore. Put it all back together and that should fix your problem.
