Oversized exhaust studs

My cylinder head has a few "bastard" studs. Such that they are larger on one end. Anyone know where to buy these.

I am going to measure these tomorrow, to determine the thread pitch/size.

6 bolt or 7 bolt head?

If you have a 2g (or 7 bolt 1g) the 2 outer ones are supposed to be M10 and the rest are M8. The 1g 6 bolt has all M8.

I checked the threads, they are m10/m8. The portion that screws into the head are m10.

Only some are like this, (I assume it was a repair job?) it is a 1g head.

Here is a pic of the stud, searching on the internet I found a reference that ACE hardware might have them. Gonna check there.

This is what I would use, these are the best money can buy and are larger than regular helicoils. They are a bit steep at $72, but you should never have to worry with it again.
