What would happen if Closed Throttle Switch closes while driving at low throttle?

Does that mean the TPS is going bad? I know I have adjusted it to spec.

It's a 1g TB with 2g TPS. How can I test if it cuts in and out? Should I just pull the pin out and hook it to the 1g switch-SAS?

No codes, no misfire, just a silent bog and then it goes again.

Any help would be appreciated it

It means you should unscrew it so it only closes at... you guess it, closed throttle.

What exactly do you unscrew? I'm getting bucking in gear at low rpm when letting off the throttle but want to test my TPS for sure before I install the $150 new one.

You determine that it's just barely closed by watching resistance on pins 3-4 until you go from closed to open continuity, correct?

We got it figured out guys. Thanks alot. Since he was using 1g TB we cut the wire that was for the closed throttle switch and it went to the switch that is on side of the TB.

You didn't need to do that. You just needed to correctly adjust the 2G TPS.
