racing harness??roll cage or no roll cage

ok i have heard different things but i want the truth..so i came here j/k...but yea

if i get racing seats and racing harnesses do i need a roll cage...i know they bolt up to the old seat belt mounts , but i heard you have to have the harness strap go straight back and then down to the floor

no, you dont need a full roll cage if you just want to put the harness in.
You just need to mount the rear bracket where your backseat buckle is. You could remove the rear seat al together, but i have a Corbeau harness and its mounted onto the back seat lock. Also, you might need to make a new mounting hole for the strap to your right in the middle. My racing seat has no bolt like the stock seat does.

ok heres the thing...i woudl only be douing the thing for looks(RICE i know)...so would i have to remove the back seat ALL TOGETHER..or jsut to install...pretty much would anyone be able to sit in my back seat......should i jsut bye the roll cage???then would people be able to sit in my backseat

If you get a roll cage, I don't think people will be able to sit in the back. I believe there is a horizontal bar that will get in the way. Might as well have no rear seats. Even with the harness, I don't think people will be able to sit back there, since it will be right in their face and you use their seat belt lock.

Did you see the diagram? It goes right back in there. I don't think it's possible for people to sit in the back with a harness.

Just curious how much your dumping into seats and harnesses? For that you could do a lot of mods to make your car faster.

well i am getting all the stuff i need to know..i still don't have the AWD i am saving for it,,i will be doing the so called RICE mods after i am done getting into the mid 12's to low 13's ...or lower..rice mods are AFTER i pend the 3000 on the engine(or more) my goal so far is to get a 16g in it then get a couple rice mods then back to the engine
